Our favourite pub in Nottingham. The venue for our second date. Charming, atmospheric, great food, good beer, friendly staff, a Victorian music hall and now a charitable trust.
Historically a home for rebels and rogues, poets and politicians. Commissioned by a Nottingham plumber turned entrepreneur on borrowed money. Built on caves (as is much of Nottingham city centre) for merriment, dancing and community.
It was the only choice for us and we can’t wait to share this beautiful, special space with all of the most beautiful, special people.

Uber usually pick up from Beastmarket Hill or there’s black cabs on Wheelergate. There’s a city-centre music festival (Dot to Dot) on the same day and it’s a bank holiday Sunday. It’s likely to be busy.

We want you to feel comfortable and a little bit special. There’s no need to go mega-formal or spend a fortune. Cool, stylish, and celebratory. Dress up in a way that makes you feel your best.

Yes, absolutely. We will have a quieter area with toys and extra snacks for them.
BUT if you need an excuse for a date night, then no. Book a babysitter.
You really don’t need to buy us anything, but we are building our vinyl collection, so buy us your favourite record, or one that makes you think of us :)
